When do you pay a deposit with Greenwheels?

 

 

A deposit, also called collateral, is money you pay and then get back, provided nothing has happened to - in this case - the Greenwheels car.

 

Deposit when paying by credit card
If you use your credit card to pay for Greenwheels, we will only put a hold on your credit card for the deposit. This means that the spending limit of your credit card will be temporarily reduced.

 

Deposit when paying by direct debit
If you choose to pay for Greenwheels by direct debit (IBAN/iDeal), you will be asked to pay the deposit during sign up.

 

Deposit with iDEAL
A third option is to pay the deposit directly with iDEAL during your sign up. The amount will then be immediately debited from your account.
