How do I open a Greenwheels shared car?

You can open our cars with the Greenwheels app, a Greenwheels card or your paired OV-chipkaart.

Opening a car with the app:

• Open the app
• Tap your upcoming booking on the home screen.
• Tap 'start your trip'
• Swipe up the Greenwheels logo to open the car

Opening a car with the Greenwheels card or OV-chipkaart:

• Hold your card against the card reader behind the windshield on the driver's side.

The car should unlock automatically within 15 seconds. If the app doesn’t work, try using your card.
If you can’t open the car with the card or the app, please call customer service. Make sure to always have your OV-chipkaart or Greenwheels card on you in case you can’t open the car with the app.
