How do I lock a Greenwheels shared car? How do I end my trip?

 

 

You can lock the car with the app:

• Tap 'End your trip'
• Then swipe down to lock the car
  End your trip if the car is back at its designated parking location and you want to end your booking (early), making the car available again for other Greenwheels drivers.

You can also use your OV-chipkaart or Greenwheels card: 

• Leave the vehicle and close all the doors
• Hold your card in front of the card reaer behind the windshield on the driver's side 
  

The car should lock itself automatically within 15 seconds. If the app doesn’t work, try using your card.

 

If you can’t lock the car with the card or the app, please call customer service.

 

Please note: always return the car to its own designated location and with sufficient fuel (at least ¼ tank) or at the activated charging station in case of an e-car.
